![]() Using these dimensions, a CAD drawing can be made and have it machined somewhere. I am therefore looking for someone who would happen to have a 21.5" iMac stand lying around of the 2009, 2010 or the 2011 model (OEM part # 922-9796 ) and would like to share its dimensions in order to replicate the stand to a VESA mount. My "solution" would be partially disassembling the computer in order to remove the stand and replace that stand with a custom part which can connect to a VESA wall mount. I for one am not a big fan of these add-on mounts and would like to create a solution. ![]() I have also found that there are a couple of mounts that you can attach to the stand and mount it to the wall. This unfortunately is not possible as many sources on the internet already mention. ![]() I always assumed this would be a straightforward using the kit that Apple sells. I have been the happy owner of a mid 2011 21.5" iMac and would love to have this computer mounted to the wall using a VESA mount. ![]()
